Moose Toys
Moose Toys are all about making children Superhappy!
Just like us, Moose understand the importance of joy through play and how essential it is to children’s lives and development. Having such a like minded partner, who not only understands and supports our aims, but shares in our vision, has been extremely beneficial.
Moose have been our biggest contributor, and as their support has grown each year, so too has our reach across the country, providing toys for thousands more refugee and asylum seeker children in the process.
Beyond the toys, a team of Moose volunteers also assist us each year with the running of our huge signature event, helping us gift toys out to the children directly.
The RASTD is very proud to be considered a charity partner of the Moose Happy Kids Foundation, which works generously to make a positive difference the world over, helping children to access the pure power of play. Please join with me in giving all at Moose Toys a very warm and huge thanks!
Spectrum Migrant Resource Centre
“For the past 40 years, Spectrum’s mission has been to help new migrants and refugees feel at home in Australia.
In more recent times, the Refugee and Asylum Seeker Toy Drive team have played a significant role in helping us achieve our mission by providing toys to the newest members of our community who are so often marginalised and have a tough time adjusting to life in a foreign land. The RASTD has become a favourite fixture of the Spectrum annual calendar for our clients, as well as our staff. It is such a special time of year and there is no greater feeling than seeing the joyous smiles on the faces of children whom many are receiving their first ever new toy.
The simple act of giving a family some toys goes such a long way to reassuring new arrivals that they are welcome, that they are valued and enables their settlement journey to continue with the knowledge that they are kindly supported.

Grill’d
The Grill’d Local Matters program aims to ‘spread the community spirit, one token vote at a time’.
As the RASTD grew, so too did the support of the team at Grill’d. By granting the RASTD a month-long presence in many of their stores across the country as a part of their Local Matters program, Grill’d has not only helped to raise our national profile, but assisted us by running fundraising events and directly donating funds. Every individual store, with their management and staff, deserve special thanks for helping our cause, especially those that went above and beyond.
Factorie
Factorie is the go-to youth brand for the latest must-have clothing styles.
Providing gifts to teenage children is always so hard, so when Factorie decided to make regular clothing donations to our efforts, we were super excited! Factorie’s donations of clothing not only provides vulnerable children with a means of expression, but also heaps to ease some of the pressures on newly-arrived families as they settle into a new country.
Factorie is committed to sustainability and reducing their impact on the planet, which shines through in their support of our efforts, and also within their work with the Cotton On Foundation.
